San Saba River Adventures

At San Saba River Adventures, our goal is your satisfaction. Whether your
interest is fishing, birding, wildlife viewing or simply paddling a scenic Texas
river, we can make it happen.

Every river is different, and rivers change over time. We recommend that
your first trip on the San Saba be a guided trip. If you're an experienced
paddler, or have been on this river before, we are happy to rent you a
kayak (or you can bring your own) and provide shuttle service.

Depending on your skill level and interests we can tailor a day-long
adventure on one of several stream segments above or below the town of
Menard. We have a fleet of 12, Wilderness Systems sit-on-top kayaks.

Trips and Rates
Fishing on the fly
The San Saba is a perfect
stream for fly fishing. This feisty
Guadalupe fell to a wooly bugger.
Wilderness adventure
Though you're never more than a
few miles from a major road, the
lack of residential development
along the San Saba River
promotes a sense of solitude
and adventure.
